Canon Elura 60 MiniDV Digital Camcorder

Google

The Elura 60 MiniDV is Canon's midlevel digital video camcorder that sits squarely between their low end ZR line and their higher end Optura line. It weighs a little over 1 pound, putting it about average for cameras of this type. What this means is that it's easy to carry with you and easy to use.

The Elura 60 has some nice features. The buttons are easy to use and it utilizes image stabilization technology to get rid of the "jitters." It not only captures pictures to the SD Memory Card, but short "instant movies" as well, in the form of JPEGs. It also has a number of presets with pre-programmed auto exposure modes that have just the right settings for theater (Spotlight), at the beach (Sand & Snow), candles and firelight (Low Light), and other conditions.
